Join Small Business Administration and NASA leadership at NASA Headquarters in Washington on Tuesday, July 18, at 9:30 a.m. EDT as they showcase the rankings of federal agencies in meeting their small business goals.

At the event, Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman will unveil the Fiscal Year 2022 Small Business Federal Procurement Scorecard, which includes NASA’s rating. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy will host the event.

Accompanying them will be Karla Smith Jackson, NASA’s deputy chief acquisition officer and assistant administrator for procurement, Glenn Delgado, associate administrator for NASA’s Office of Small Business Programs, and small business leaders collaborating with NASA. Interviews with Jackson and Delgado can be arranged after the news conference.

The event will be held at the newly opened Earth Information center in the Easy Lobby at NASA Headquarters, located at 300 E St. SW in Washington.

To cover the event, media personnel must RSVP to Tiffani Clements via email at tiffani.clements@sba.gov at least two hours prior to the start time. Please note that space is limited.

Over the years, NASA has consistently received an “A” rating from SBA for its efforts in engaging with small businesses, including those owned by historically under-utilised individuals, women, and veterans with disabilities.
